What a joy to discover. After a week in a sweltering hotel and a long journey we were met warmly and shown to an exquisite room: high ceilings, spotlessly clean, huge room, super king bed, windows which open and radiators which turn off. Oh, the joy! Very good breakfast too. This is now our Gatwick stop over forever.

Great breakfast. Half moon pub nearby did a lovely lunch. Caught the Gatwick express to London in 30mins for a catch up with friends on Sunday. Hosts were lovely and on hand for any queries we had. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for anybody flying out from Gatwick.

What an absolute diamond of a guest house. The rooms were immaculate, warm and beautifully designed. David and Julia are wonderful hosts. Despite an early check out we had a wonderful continental breakfast with lots of choices. This is now our go to place when flying from Gatwick . Thank you both 😊😊😊

The customer service by David and Julia are the best I have ever experienced, from airport pickup, to drop off at the local pub for dinner, and superb cooked breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, the room squeaky clean, and the water hot. I will definitely stay again when I am through London.

Excellent 2-day stay. Friendly welcome. Very clean rooms with heating, en-suite, kettle and tea making facilities, plug and USB points, good parking. Excellent cooked English breakfast (but continental available). The local area is not one that has many attractions but we were there for a wedding nearby. Great place to stay. Thank you Julia and David, the owners. Your hospitality was excellent.

I stayed there a night before heading to Gatwick airport fob holiday. Trumbles has Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds and delicious breakfast! It was made even better with their service of keeping my car to pick up after my trip away. Will definitely stay there again.

We had an overnight stop at Trumbles following our arrival at Gatwick, It was a lovely experience. David and Julia are welcoming and attentive hosts, the rooms (based on ours) and guest areas are comfortable, quiet and well appointed, we had an excellent breakfast and to get there is an easy drive from the airport.

We had a great stay here during our overnight layover. Chose this place over an airport hotel in hopes that we’d get a taste of English countryside charm so it would feel more like an extension of our holiday versus an extended layover on our way home. It was exactly that. We booked the shuttle pick up from and drop off at Gatwick and it was super convenient. We walked off our plane and David was already waiting for us and it was a short drive to leave the hustle and bustle behind. David was a friendly, reliable an excellent host. They cook a mean breakfast! The space is beautiful and charming, especially the sunroom/garden where we had breakfast. We slept amazing. Great beds. Quiet location. Had an excellent dinner at the Half Moon pub a short 10 min walk away. Will definitely return.

We recently stayed here for a night prior to a morning flight from Gatwick. Very friendly welcome on arrival and the room was spacious, clean and comfy. Due to our flight time we could only have breakfast first thing at 7:30am, but this wasn't a problem; our cooked breakfast was ready just a few minutes after taking our seats in the dining area. Shuttle service was great and we were picked up from the airport on arrival back at Gatwick promptly, with our car then waiting for us back at the guest house. All in all, a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Trumbles Guest House was the perfect start for our honeymoon trip. The location is conveniently located by Gatwick Airport and is surrounded by dreamy scenes, lovely grounds and amazing walking paths. We arrived earlier than the scheduled check in as we landed super early in the day, Julia was able to accommodate us and made us feel right at home. David and Julia have created a fabulous stay here, we can't wait to come back and stay with them again. Breakfast was also incredible!! Loved our stay here! Thank you so much! Rooms: Gorgeous rooms with a huge ensuite bathroom. Walkability: Really enjoyed the walking around Trumbles. Lots of scenery and paths to discover! Food & drinks: Breakfast each morning was made fresh and accompanied by coffee & tea. A few minutes walking will get you to some adorable restaurants and late night snacks.
